Asking for help can be one of the hardest choices a person makes, and Colleen Mest approaches that step with understanding and steady support. She partners with clients to identify areas they want to change and explores those concerns together through a collaborative, compassionate process that highlights individual strengths and encourages reflection.
Colleen is a Pennsylvania-licensed clinical social worker with more than 12 years of experience in assessment and mental health treatment. She has worked with a wide range of concerns, including stress, anxiety, depression, trauma and abuse, self-esteem struggles, relationship issues, family conflicts, grief, parenting challenges, anger management, compassion fatigue, and coping with life changes.
Her work is informed by a trauma-aware perspective and a particular interest in helping women remove barriers that limit their goals and fulfillment. Colleen creates a safe, nonjudgmental space for exploration and tailors care to each person’s needs.
If her approach seems like a good match, Colleen is open to working together. Her current availability is limited, though she does have a few openings.
