Cindy Myers is a licensed mental health counselor in Florida who has held her state license since 2011 and brings a long track record in clinical work. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of West Florida in 2000 and completed a master’s degree in counseling and psychology at Troy State University in 2006.
Her career in the helping professions spans 22 years and began at a local mental health agency, where she worked with individuals and families affected by severe and persistent mental illness as well as substance abuse and addiction. Over time she developed expertise in areas such as anxiety and depression, stress and anger management, family and relationship concerns, grief and loss, bipolar disorder, trauma and abuse, self-esteem, coping with life changes, and addictions.
Myers uses a multidimensional approach to therapy, assessing each person’s needs and creating an individualized plan to pursue their goals. She aims to support, encourage, and empower people as they move through discovery and healing, and her practice is centered on helping clients confront life’s challenges while working toward personal growth and greater well-being.
She is licensed to practice clinical counseling in Florida (state license MH10965) and draws on years of varied experience to guide clients who are ready to take steps toward a more fulfilling life.
Many people find that online therapy can help address common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. For these issues, remote counseling is often a viable alternative to in-person appointments and can support meaningful progress.
One major advantage is flexibility - clients can connect in the format that best fits their needs, whether by video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. That flexibility makes it easier to arrange sessions around busy schedules and daily obligations.
Therapists offering online care are licensed professionals, and clients may switch therapists if they feel a different fit would be more helpful. Online therapy can be a practical option for many people seeking support while balancing the demands of everyday life.
