Chyleetzia Johnson is a Professional Counselor licensed to practice in Michigan. She holds a BA in Management and Organizational Development, a Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education, and a Master of Arts in Counseling, and she brings 13 years of clinical experience to her work helping people build stronger lives.

She is a wife and mother of two adult children and is certified as a Michigan Association for Infant Mental Health Mentor, the highest level of endorsement for supporting pregnant mothers and caregivers of infants aged 0-6 in efforts to lessen the effects of generational trauma.
Johnson’s professional passion is building healthy connections by working with individuals, couples, and families to develop more positive relationships. She believes that greater emotional and physical connection with oneself supports deeper intimacy with others.
Her practice draws on person-centered, attachment-based, cognitive-behavioral, and compassion-based approaches as evidence-based components of care. She champions clients through the healing process and supports them in moving beyond hurt and pain.
Many people wonder whether online therapy can truly help. For common concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, or major life transitions, online therapy has been shown to be as effective as traditional in-person sessions for addressing these issues.
One major benefit is flexibility - clients can connect in the format that works best for them, including video calls, phone sessions, live chat, or in-app messaging. This range of options makes it easier to fit regular therapy into a busy schedule.
These services are provided by licensed professionals and therapists, and clients have the option to switch to a different therapist if they feel a different fit would be better for them.
