Carol Watler has more than 17 years of experience in mental health care and has lived in the Orlando area for over 20 years. Her background blends clinical counseling and spiritual care, including seven years serving as a hospital chaplain where she supported patients, families and staff through difficult medical and grief-related situations.
She earned a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University and a Master of Divinity from Regent University. She is board eligible for certification with the Association of Professional Chaplains, holds a certification in Critical Incident Stress Management through her membership in the American Association of Christian Counselors, and has been recognized as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst candidate. She is licensed to practice as a mental health counselor in New York.
From 2003 to 2009 she provided spiritual and emotional care at Orlando Health Systems and managed the Chaplaincy Department at South Seminole Hospital, ministering to patients, families and hospital staff coping with emergency department stressors. While completing her counseling training she began clinical work in 2003 with Lakeside Alternatives, then returned there in 2009 as a licensed mental health counselor providing therapy to juveniles and their families.
In November 2010 she founded Hope For Tomorrow Mental Health Services, LLC to deliver individual and group counseling and psychotherapy for adults, juveniles and families. Her mission is grounded in Isaiah 61:1-3, and she strives to offer hope by combining therapeutic care with faith, encouragement and compassion.
Outside of private practice she volunteers locally by leading workshops on stress management, grief and coping skills, and by assisting clients with referrals to advocacy groups, churches and parish nurses when appropriate. She is a proud mother of three young adult professional women and a grandmother of three.
Carol offers straightforward, results-oriented counseling that addresses the whole person. Her approach is comprehensive - treatment plans consider physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs - and focused on producing measurable progress in months rather than years whenever possible.
For a wide range of common concerns - including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues and life transitions - virtual therapy can be as effective as traditional in-person sessions. Many people find that online care delivers comparable outcomes for these types of challenges.
One of the main benefits is flexibility. Individuals can connect with a therapist in the format that suits them best: video calls, phone sessions, live chat or in-app messaging. This variety makes it simpler to fit appointments into busy schedules and to access support from different locations.
All participating therapists are licensed professionals, and clients may change therapists at any time if they want a different fit. Online therapy can be a practical, accessible option for those seeking timely, professional help for common mental health and life concerns.
