Ayanna Ferguson provides compassionate, culturally attuned therapy for individuals and families across diverse racial, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds who are beginning or returning to treatment. With ten years of clinical experience, Ayanna applies a range of evidence-informed interventions to support short-term and focused work. Her therapeutic approach incorporates Solution-Based Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Attachment and Structural Family Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness practices, and Narrative Therapy.

Ayanna holds a master’s degree from Howard University and completed post-graduate training at the Ackerman Institute for Families. She is a licensed clinical social worker in New York and also serves as a faculty lecturer at Columbia University while maintaining a private practice.
