Annette Church

Annette Church is a Master’s-level therapist practicing in Arizona with 20 years of clinical experience. She is licensed to practice in Arizona as a Professional Counselor and is also credentialed as an Independent Substance Abuse Counselor; her Arizona license is AZ LPC 10149. Her training and years of work enable her to supervise other therapists as well.

Annette approaches therapy from a client-centered perspective, believing that everyone is a work in progress and that making changes to improve life should be met with support rather than shame. She regularly works with stress, anxiety, depression, addictions, trauma, relationship difficulties, self-esteem concerns, grief, and other life challenges.

Her clinical toolkit includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness practices, Motivational Interviewing, brief therapy techniques, and faith-based counseling. She adapts those methods to suit each person’s needs and checks in during sessions to ensure the work is helping and progress is being made.
