Angela Stills is a licensed counselor based in Louisiana who brings 16 years of professional experience to her clinical work. She combines administrative and clinical perspectives developed over years of working with adolescents and adults in outpatient clinics, community and home-based programs, intensive mental health services, and within a correctional institution.
She believes that people already carry the capacity for the change they seek and partners with clients to help bring that change into view. Angela encourages open conversation and thoughtful exploration in a safe, supportive setting while respectfully challenging clients to grow. Her clinical focus includes stress, anxiety, trauma and abuse, anger management, depression, coping with life changes, addictions, grief, self-esteem, bipolar disorder, and ADHD.
Angela holds professional counseling licenses in both Louisiana and Texas and maintains supervisory and national board certification credentials. As a clinician, she draws on Solution-Focused Brief Therapy as the foundation of her approach and values practical, goal-oriented work that aims for meaningful progress. She looks forward to helping clients move toward the outcomes they want through collaborative, focused counseling.
Online therapy can be an effective option for many common concerns, including stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and managing life transitions. For these types of issues, remote therapy has been shown to perform comparably to in-person care for helping people make meaningful progress.
An important benefit of online sessions is flexibility - clients can choose the mode of communication that suits them best, whether that is video appointments, phone conversations, live chat, or in-app messaging. This adaptability makes it easier to fit care into a busy schedule and maintain continuity when life is unpredictable.
Licensed professionals provide online therapy, and clients retain the option to change therapists if they decide a different fit would be more helpful. For many people, teletherapy offers a practical, accessible way to address mental health needs while preserving the quality of care they expect from a trained therapist.
